To support the safe and efficient transition of a natural gas network to a blended and 100% Hydrogen gas transportation and distribution network.To support Net Zero projects including System Transformation with development of network analysis systems, processes and to carry out network analysis to assess the suitability of our network to transport hydrogen. Provide technical support to System Operation, the Net Zero team, Business Services and other relevant departments to lead on the development of techniques for Hydrogen analysis within WWU’s business.Development of network analysis techniques for both Above and Below 7 system to analyse for blended Hydrogen entry and 100% Hydrogen networks.• Development of network analysis models to include biogas, natural gas, and hydrogen areas.• Lead on system development for use of Synergi, PRISM, GasCalc, Toolbox and other planning tools impacted by hydrogen.• Undertake hydrogen analysis to support key projects as required for system transition to Net Zero including the ‘Modelling and Analysis’ project as part of the System Transformation programme.• Produce reports and share results
