I started working underground construction early 1985 in Northern California operating equipment and installing all utilities in subdivisions from start to finish, in which I completed full scope of tasks from the initial vegetation removal thru finish grading around utility boxes.For 19 years I completed this work for two companies, one being Mary Lake Development, and the second was Three Seasons Development under the ownership of Robert “Buz” Loring.In 2006 I completed my exam and became a Licensed California Contractor, Class A. (general engineering) and have stayed self-employed the past approx. 16 years to date. Thru this time I have owned my own equipment, including dozers, skip loader, backhoe, excavator, etc. 2006-Current: Owner of Carlson Construction where we've built 130+ miles of local public and private trails systems. Doing fire prevention, land clearing, burning brush piles, and some re-forestation.I have an extensive knowledge in operating equipment. In my combined 38 years of experience I would be considered an expert operator. Additionally, I have my DMV Class A Drivers License (electric brakes only) and am 100% alcohol-drug free.
