Ran and operated my first retail store, (Floors to Go), in Roseville, CA. After not wanting to be a member of the FTG franchise I changed the name to Floor Stop and eventually, (before being completely sold in 2000), had three additional stores which were partnerships with others or owned by myself.

Opened up and Floors to Go with Jacob Kimmel who had just moved to area to develop flooring business. After successfully demonstrating my abilities to manage/install/supervise I was given the opportunity to open a branch store i n Stockton, CA. and within four to five years, returned to the Sacramento to run all stores as the Vice President. Job duties required purchasing and displaying of all inventories to all stores, supervising all personnel, (hire/fire), and write vendor payments and employee payments. Once the siblings became involved I elected to leave FTG to open my own satellite FTG in Roseville, CA. Shortly thereafter I changed the name to Floor Stop as to elude becoming a FTG franchise.
