Green Landscape Solutions is a design build landscape company. I am currently in charge of the commercial design and sales division of the company. I work with builders to design new water wise housing communities and help to establish the budget for construction of the project. I work with civil engineers and architects to take the project through the city submittal process and gain approval for construction. I then work with our project managers, foreman, and crew members to bring the approved design through construction. I’m also in charge of the warranty, billable work, invoicing, and maintenance of the new communities while under construction.I work with residential landscape clients as well. I meet with clients to find out their landscape needs. After coming up with a preliminary budget for the work I then work with the client to come up with a landscape/hardscape design for the project. I will then take on the role of the project manager for the job. I place orders for material and create a job work order for the foreman and crew who will then install the project. I oversee construction of the project and help to be the bridge between the client and the crew. I will also deal with any warranty, billable extras, and invoicing for the project. I also have construction experience using heavy equipment. Skid steers, mini skids, mini excavators, fork lifts, trucks, and trailers. Placing large boulders, layout and installation of plant material, and general irrigation knowledge.

I was responsible for downloading and organizing construction drawings and building specifications so projects can be evaluated for bid. I have to be self motivated at this job since I work from home and have no boss to look over my shoulder and tell me when things need to be done.

I was responsible for ordering product while staying within a budget, projecting sales, tracking purchases and product within the department to maintain inventory, counting inventory, recording and tracking shrink within the department with plans on how to reduce loss, merchandising and finding ways to increase sales, directing and delegating responsibility to team members to complete projects, training team members, customer service, and food preparation and production.
