• Experience developing and implementing transportation safety programs and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs in the following areas: motor carrier safety compliance and enforcement; Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP); Commercial Driver Licensing; Performance and Registration Information Systems Management (PRISM) and Commercial Vehicle Information System Network (CVISN). • Manage and supervises a staff of 14 FTE which includes program managers, safety investigators and support staff geographically dispersed in various offices located across the entire state of Pennsylvania.• Assure effective management of the Division's day‑to‑day operations and direct the implementation of program actions to resolve problems or controversial issues which impede the accomplishment of program objectives.• Provide leadership in developing and administering a multifaceted transportation safety program. • Develop and implement a wide-ranging transportation safety program in Pennsylvania focusing on CMV related issues with an ultimate goal in reducing highway fatalities. Provide direction and supervision for the division's Compliance and Enforcement programs and division's MCSAP, CDL, CVISN, PRISM, hazardous materials, crash data and other programs. • Ensures each program is implemented and managed in accordance with FMCSA policies and federal regulations.• Includes approval of state Commercial Vehicle Safety Plans, CDL, PRISM and other safety related grants. • Establish division program priorities and goals and allocate resources to meet FMCSA objectives.• Primary representative that meets with high ranking elected and appointed officials (federal and state transportation officials, commissioners and industry leaders) on transportation safety and security program issues.• Lead, directed and represent the agency on the Passenger Technical Advisory Group (P-TAG)
