I am responsible for maintaining and developing the Lee Library’s collection of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean materials (as well as English materials about Asia) at BYU. I also provide library instruction and reference assistance to students, and support professorial faculty with their teaching and research related to Asia. I have advanced degrees in Chinese history--MA University of Colorado; PhD Columbia University (2008) and have taught Chinese language, literature, history, and culture classes at the university level. I currently teach “Introduction to Asian Studies” (ASIAN 200) and engage in research on pre-modern Chinese cultural history.
