Observed a new flow cytometry staining automation project in the BioMedicine Design laboratory that reduced waste and ergonomic risk. Shadowed production engineering staff to gain an understanding of suite operations. Assisted with environmental compliance tasks including hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater pretreatment, and sustainability related metrics.

As an intern, I worked hands-on preparing and creating custom plastic orthotics. I also shadowed the head prosthetist into lectures and expos demonstrating new upcoming technology in the prosthetic and orthotic fields.
