Responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of 150 pieces of automotive and road marking equipment. Maintain equipment records, order and receive parts and schedule work for the 5 mechanics that are in the shop as well as communicating with sister companies at two other locations.

Responsible for the scheduling of three, two man crews performing inspection and maintenance on overhead cranes for customers at their location. Performed duties of researching parts, creating quotes, order and receipt of parts. Maintaining company vehicles and equipment. Working with customers to schedule when the best time to perform their repairs or inspections would be.

Performed routine maintenance and repair on over three million dollars of construction equipment. Maintained history, parts and cost spent on repairs through computer system. Responsible for the ordering, receipt, storing and issue of parts for equipment. Performed field repairs when units needed repair while on jobsite. Performed repairs on customer equipment as well as ordered and invoiced parts for the customer. Maintained field service truck with crane on rear of truck. Made deliveries as well as pickup of rental equipment. Ensured that shop and yard safety guidelines were followed.

Worked all aspects of Equipment Maintenance and Operation. Floor Mechanic responsible for the repair and maintenance of U. S. Navy Seabee construction and automotive equipment. Responsible for the requisitioning, receiving, storage and inventory of all parts needed to perform repairs and maintenance. Equipment Inspector, primary job was to inspect all equipment scheduled for repairs. Shop Supervisor, responsible for ten crews of two to three men each performing maintenance and repairs on construction and automotive equipment. Equipment Officer, responsible for the management of four maintenance shops and their budgets as well as the scheduling of equipment for as many as five separate construction projects. During this phase of my Naval career I was also responsible for the preparation and shipping of as many as thirty pieces of construction and automotive equipment by Convoy, Ship or Barge, and Airplane.
