When a fall from a tree in February of 1986 left me paralyzed from the upper chest down and in my lower arms and hands, most people thought my life was over. On the contrary…my life had just begun. As a sophomore at Wofford College, at the age of 20, I made the decision to take the second chance God had given me and I never looked back.I transferred to Clemson University six months after my injury where I received my Bachelor’s Degree. I went to the University of South Carolina School of Law and received my Juris Doctor degree and practiced law for over sixteen years. I spent the first four years in private practice and over twelve years at the Department of Social Services handling abuse and/or neglect cases of children and adults.I got the call to preach from God at a funeral in 2001 and I started taking classes part time in the summer of 2001 at Erskine Theological Seminary. I left seminary to focus on my family after my wife and daughter were involved in a horrible horse riding accident in January 2007.I had two surgeries in 2010 that led me to retire from practicing law; however, God knew what He was doing because I reenrolled into Erskine Theological Seminary. I graduated with a Master of Divinity in May 2012 and two weeks later was ordained as an Evangelist.I founded, along with my wife, Arise and Walk Ministries in order to get the message out that God is always in control no matter what circumstances or disabilities people have and that He will always provide people with an abundant life through salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.To schedule me for dates to come and preach at your church or revival or speak at your civic event, please call 864-933-6183, or by e-mail at ariseandwalk@aol.com.
