Mining Engineer
CurrentMy job with the Bureau of Land Management is to help manage the Federal Mineral Estate for 20 Northeastern states, which predominately involves solid mineral exploration along with mineral mining, and coal mining. In general my main duties involve working alongside The Doe Run Resource Corporation and their operations in the Southeastern Missouri Viburnum Lead District. This involves verifying all production on federal leases along with resolving issues through onsite inspections.Additionally I have the opportunity to evaluate coal properties that will be sent forward for lease sale and work to determine the Fair Market Value of these properties by evaluating their operations.
