Timothy Killian is an adult case manager carrying his LLBSW and QMHP. Prospective Wayne State University MSW candidate 2024. Current outpatient therapist intern at Healing Hearts Therapy LLC. Timothy graduated with his bachelors degree from UM-Flint in 2019 with deep ties to the Flint community. Timothy was highly involved as the volunteer coordinator for the Flint Social Work Club and interned at the Westwood Heights school district. While interning, Timothy gained experienced in group facilitation with children ages 5+ that were impacted by cognitive/intellectual challenges, ASD, trauma, food insecurity, homelessness, poverty, foster care and/or disabilities. Timothy gained knowledge of social work practice by providing referrals, assisting with case work, monitoring attendance, and providing educational community resources. Currently, Timothy acts as an adult case manager who works within office, community, and home settings in Flint, MI. Timothy confidently maintains a case load of 70+ adults living with mental illness, substance abuse, and/or developmental disabilities providing mental health case management services. Timothy is a certified "Seeking Safety" facilitator and currently runs one co-ed group per week. Valid SOAR Practitioner. Timothy also has additional training and education in trauma informed care, DBT Skills, and PTSD. Currently, open to opportunities provide individual therapy or education groups for children and/or adults.
