In 2014, Compressco purchased Compressor Systems, Inc., creating a company with more than 1 million horsepower and expanding the range of compression service offerings to customers. ✦✦✦✦✦I was retained in this top executive management position after playing a central role in the capital raise that facilitated Compressco’s 2014 purchase of the company I served for nearly 20 years, Compressor Systems, Inc. I was integral to the post-acquisition integration process, merging the companies’ management, sales, and field service teams and operational systems. In May 2017, I informed the board that I would be stepping down at the conclusion of my initial three-year employment agreement.As the principal executive officer for the company, I reported to the Chairman of the Board of CSI Compressco General Partner (CCGP) and the President and CEO of TETRA Technologies, Inc., CCGP’s parent company. I represented the company in investor meetings, bank syndicate meetings, and at MLP and Energy Investment and Energy Credit Financing conferences. I took the lead role in preparing for and delivering quarterly earnings releases and earnings calls. Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors of Warren Equipment Company, I played a key role in the divestment of CSI after 43 years of family ownership.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:✦ Restructured senior management to streamline business activities and better serve customers. Led 650+ employees with 8 direct reports.✦ Grew annual revenue over 50% during tenure while improving profitability.✦ Expanded compression rental fleet by 25% to over 850,000 horsepower and improved utilization more than 10% while maintaining targeted leverage at 1.0x EBITDA. ✦ Engaged with buyer's executive group in their financing effort, presented company value and capabilities to investors, lenders and research analysts, resulting in $350 million public equity raise and $350 million private placement of senior notes to execute the transaction. Prior to this role, I held a series of progressive leadership positions;▶▶ Senior Vice President (2009 to 2010): Responsible for global sales of custom-built compression and pump systems in addition to existing VP Engineering & Production duties. Oversaw 200+ people, including 8 direct reports, implemented sales, engineering, and manufacturing strategies to double equipment sales revenue to ~$150 million annually.▶▶ Vice President, Engineering & Production (2003 to 2009).
