As a member of the special projects team I was responsible for building new stores, relocating and remodeling existing stores. I helped layout steel and fixtures according to plans and insure assembly was safe and to standards. I was assigned supervision of company teams and monitored progress and standards of third party vendors. I worked closely with construction contractors to insure any issues were corrected timely. I was often requested to assist special project teams from other regions and worked from Hawaii to Florida. I was accountable for the training and supervision of sales team to exceed sales and profit to plan. I conducted all new hire functions from interviewing to training. I directly managed the back of the store to include; receiving, cash office, records management, and the technology department. I was responsible for monitoring shrink and implementing action plans to curb loss. I walked the Loss Prevention and District Manager audits weekly with key team members to correct issues.
