I worked a hybrid role at Nordic Edge on the weekends, packing orders for the Ecommerce side of the business, and assisting in the running of our Forged Knife making, Blacksmithing, and Spoon Carving workshops. My responsibilities included order fulfilment, stock replenishment, inventory management and making light repairs and upgrades to the premises. When running the workshops, I was in charge of workshop admin, greeting customers, general organisation and processing orders at POS.

I ran a small 3D printing business that specialised in the design and 3D printing of custom scale models of weapons and accessories from a VR battle royale game. I worked closely with each customer to design their ideal weapon - offering custom colour schemes, parts, embedded logos, removable parts, and prints at scale or full size. This business started as a passion project and went on to grow a dedicated following of a few hundred people. I am proud to have produced the best 3D printed products within my market niche.

Glendenning

I worked a diverse role that stretched from office to factory floor. My responsibilities included product modelling, documentation and assembly drawings, producing sales concepts and visualisations, digital design of new extrusions and parts, off-tool sample checking of sample material, and fit and tolerance assembly tests. I was often tasked with building and assembling the functional prototypes of new product samples sent to our clients. I conducted IK tests, IP submersion tests, diffuser uniformity and lumen output tests.

I worked this job part-time while studying full-time at uni. In my time at Nandos Broadway, I became proficient on all stations - Burger Bench, Grill, Coordination, Service and Dining. Broadway was the second busiest restaurant in NSW and I was renowned for being the fastest on Burger Bench. I applied my Industrial Design problem solving skills in my restaurant, crafting sticker dispensers, modifying aprons for my co-workers, and designing more easily readable posters and graphics.

I worked this job while studying full-time at uni. I was stationed BOH and my responsibilities included food prep, stock replenishment, kitchen assistance, pizza cutting and general cleaning. This job taught me the value of efficient systems, organising your environment to optimise workflow, and the benefit of foresight in preparation.
