In this role, I led the analysis of the master data within the company's ERP system, Made2Manage, achieving substantial improvements in data integrity and reporting efficiency.Key Accomplishments encompassed:-Implementing data cleansing and optimisation strategies, enhancing the accessibility of data and clarity of the database- Developing and generating a daily report, detailing critical statistics and providing vital insights to the senior leadership team and team leaders

In this role, I reverse engineered proof-of-concept models, namely gliders and a rescue device suited to marine applications, transforming them into precise 3D models and technical drawings using Siemens NX 11, for efficient mass production. By exercising my engineering judgement, I was able to implement strategic design modifications, optimising the final products. I also established a highly collaborative relationship with the company director, ensuring the project's success through effective communication and alignment of objectives.

In this role, I digitised and meticulously organised a backlog of paper copies of past client files, transitioning them into the Acturis database utilised by the company. This undertaking not only enhanced data accessibility, but also contributed significantly to streamlining the company's operations, facilitating quicker and more informed decision-making processes.

This role provided me with valuable insights to the intricacies of brake and clutch production, and helped me to recognise the pivotal role played by CAD software in the design phase. I shadowed engineers across diverse departments, learning skills that encompassed interpreting complex engineering drawings, machining, assembly, quality control and rigorous product testing. I also gained hands-on experience through operating manufacturing equipment and actively participating in the assembly and testing of Peugeot brake calipers.
