Hello,My name is Timothy McGowan and I recently graduated from Towson University with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in both Music Performance and Business Administration. I am currently working at the Maryland Department of Commerce and serve as the primary staff to the Maryland Economic Council, the Maryland Economic Development Commission, the Commerce Subcabinet, and the Maryland Entertainment Industry Council. I plan to stay in this position for about a year to gain valuable experience in state government and then would like to pursue a master's degree. I'm particularly interested in foreign policy and believe I'm capable of creating a positive change in the present political system. I'm looking to gain valuable experiences in a variety of international relations fields in the hopes of broadening my perspectives.
