Tasks include helping to mix and spray refractory on furnace walls, assist maintenance with changing water pumps and hydraulics, Patch and repair the EMP (electro magnetic pump) , Being lowered into the bottom of the cast pit by the platten to remove metal droppings from bleed outs, Supervision of others while in the pit, Paint pit walls and tables with Wisechem paint mixture, Whatever other tasks are needed
