As the Executive Director of Accountability, Research, and Innovation for Nash County Public Schools, I am dedicated to using data to improve student outcomes and advance educational equity. With more than a decade of experience in educational leadership, my goal is to improve school performance through data-driven strategies, targeted supports, and a commitment to student success.In my previous roles as a Middle School Principal, I successfully led two schools out of low-performing status, achieving consecutive years of exceeding growth, and securing the highest performance grades in both schools' histories. At Parker Middle School, my leadership transformed the school from one of the lowest-performing in North Carolina to achieving record-breaking student proficiency and growth. Our efforts resulted in Parker Middle being ranked in the top 5% of all schools in the state for growth.My approach integrates comprehensive staff development, instructional design, and a culture of high expectations, leading to significant student growth, improved teacher satisfaction, and increased school performance.
