Currently, I am working as a Supply Chain Manager.Some of the roles I am tasked with undertaking includes• Overseeing the receiving, storage and dispatching of supplies• Ensuring effective and efficient logistics support for daily Area operations including Logistics and Supplies on the assigned project(s) all being implemented in accordance within the policies, standards and budgets.• Participate in tendering process • Ensure that procurement and transport status reports are up to date and are shared appropriately.• Ensure that all records including inventory reports are prepared as required i.e. monthly, quarterly and yearly• Assign duties, supervise and appraise a section of staff• Monitoring, forecasting and maintaining economic stock and reorder levels.• Establishing routes, prioritizing on customer service and tracking vehicles and routes to assure on time deliveries.• Maintenance of motor vehicles and accurate reporting.
