Led data analysis and network troubleshooting for the 5G Home product, serving as a subject matter expert in network performance, issue analysis, and trend identification using tools such as SQL, Looker, and Tableau. Troubleshot complex network issues, leading to significant improvements in 5G Home and 5G Edge product offerings. Conducted in-depth packet analysis using sniffers to perform root cause analysis on an ad-hoc basis. Led investigations into latency issues for AWS and Meta, providing critical insights that drove improvements in V2X services and enabled the deployment of AWS Wavelength in our network. Developed and identified key operational metrics for a national customer base, advising leadership on the success of network deployment objectives and informing strategic business decisions. Over a 10-year period, served as a data engineer for Verizon’s IL/WI region, responsible for network engineering of the 4G and 5G core network, including Cisco and Juniper equipment. Ensured network routing (BGP/OSPF) configurations met standards, frequently troubleshooting customer issues to maintain optimal performance.
