As a Senior Estimator at Acadiane Renovations, I led a team of four employees, including three estimators and one administrative assistant in a commercial building construction firm. In that role, I solicited, analyzed, and estimated commercial building construction projects up to $10 million in scale. I was also responsible for coordinating all estimating team activities, conducted project cost estimate review meetings, and made recommendations to executive leaders.▹ During my time there, I acquired $8-10M in backlog work within an eight-month period through a public bid marked in a time when there were numerous bids. During this time at Moore Industries, I managed a team of six employees which included superintendents, an assistant superintendent, safety supervisor, quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) manager, and assistant project manager. Responsible for safety, quality, cost analysis, and management of the project with strict adherence to budget, and on-time delivery.Some of the accomplishments that I played an integral role in were:▹ Led an $8M project at Monsanto Main Control and Maintenance Buildings on the Dicamba Expansion Project in Luling, LA under Jacobs Engineering. Managed to obtain financial incentives for reaching construction goals set forth by Jacobs. These goals were met resulting in increased revenue for the company.▹ Spearheaded design coordination for blast resistant Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB), including coordination of architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design elements.

As a Project Manager at Johnson Construction, I supervised a team of four team members (two superintendents, an assistant project manager, and an administrative assistant) over a three-year construction project. I led all efforts of project management, including scheduling, preparing monthly pay applications, pricing all change order requests, schedule updates, client interaction and accurate documentation.A few of the significant projects that I led while in this role:▹ Executed a $62M Wellness Facility project in Thibodaux, LA, which reached a company milestone of being the largest and most diverse project in the company’s history.▹ Contributed and played an instrumental role in obtaining LEED Silver level for the project, which was a major milestone and project requirement. ▹ Project consisted of a 240,000-SF wellness center which included a state of the art 5-story MOB, Mall, Fitness/Cardiac Center, Education Center, Gymnasium, Pool as well as an MRI & Imaging Center.

In my position at L-H Printing & Office Supply, aI was involved in all aspects of management, sales, and growth, of a 90-year old family-owned and operated printing and office supply company. I was responsible for increasing contract sales for office supplies, furniture, printing, and other services. Key clients were both public and private companies.Key Contributions:▹ Increased contract furniture sales and installation by 75% over a 12 month period.▹ Utilized construction background to enhance facilities through increased efficiency in receiving and shipping procedures.

I owned and operated a regional commercial building firm, TiGra Construction Corporation, focused on commercial/industrial building construction. At Conrad Shipyard, I spearheaded projects for marine repair, conversions, and new marine construction from conception to completion. I provided oversight of material take-off and pricing of structural steel fabrication, detailed process piping for marine repair, and new construction projects.
