Responsible for strategy, management, projects, and service requests pertaining to all Supply Chain as well as Inventory Planning systems and applications for the Company. • Developed a two-year roadmap to address technical debt within and add capabilities to the Supply Chain systems and applications portfolio.• Delivered two major supply chain upgrade projects to replace end-of-life hardware and software on-time and under budget. • Developed, documented, and drove the implementation of repeatable User Acceptance, End to End, and Systems Integration Testing processes and plans.

A critical interim role providing leadership and resources to finalize deployment, increase adoption, and drive defect resolution on the newly deployed Mi9 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and core merchandising system. • Built and deployed new processes to fill process/functionality gaps in the new ERP system.• Simplified the ERP supporting documentation using a practical day-in-the-life approach, eliminating bulky user-manuals, which reduced user on-boarding time frames by 2-3 weeks. • Developed and delivered classroom training to cross-functional teams resulting in immediate system adoption in both willing and change-averse users.

Responsible for coordinating, gathering and documenting the Company’s business processes for the purposes of analyzing business requirements in preparation to deploy a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to replace end-of-life/legacy solutions. • Developed and deployed a new system design/requirements standard to capture and convert business/technical requirements into detailed specs for use by internal and external software developers, which virtually eliminated missed requirements and double work.• Built and deployed a single repository for requirements, documentation, specifications, training, and all other project-related materials related to the ERP project for use by both internal and external resources which improved project collaboration and version control.

Drove and supported change management, business process development and best practice deployment across the organization. • Created and delivered business solutions & processes changes to improve team performance. Drove adoption and user-consistency by developing detailed documentation and conducting classroom training, resulting in $3M reduction in DC inventory.• Lead the project to upgrade the Manhattan Associates replenishment and demand forecasting system hardware and software for the Company.

Responsible for selection, direction, development and leadership of half the Replenishment and Allocation team to optimize inventory while maintaining high in-stock rates at a consistent 98.5% service level. • Manage a team of 5 Replenishment Analysts and a Supply Chain Analyst roughly 25K items across 91 stores and 1 DC.• Research, author and deploy in-depth training materials (full training manuals, classroom instruction and web-based knowledge bases) to stores, corporate headquarter users and support staff.• Key member of the President’s Process Improvement Committee responsible for driving costs out of the business while improving service to the stores and ultimately the customer.• Build and deploy New Item Spec Sheet and associated processes in use today. Document and train end users including Merchandising, Space Planning, Replenishment, Inventory Planning, and the Vendor/Supplier community.• Develop and implement Service Investment Strategies to manage and optimize safety stock investment at stores and the DC.• Partner with Store Operations, Plan-o-Gram, Merchandising, DC and IT teams to build and maintain opening order processes that save 25% in initial inventory investment at new stores while continuing to achieve a 98.5% in-stock and service level goals.• Project Lead and Super User in charge of deploying a version upgrade of the Manhattan Associates’ Demand Forecasting + Replenishment for Open Systems; which optimizes inventory investment at stores reducing DC safety stock by $10M.

Lay the groundwork to introduce Planning to the Company as the first Merchandise Planner. Responsible for managing DC inventory levels through analysis of sales and consumption trends, seasonal and promotional activity as well as vendor performance to improve merchandise flow, improve store service levels, increase inventory turns and maintain high in-stock position.• Develop and maintain Excel-based tools to download and analyze data from various host systems and sources. Known as the resident “Excel expert” across the Company.• Perform ad-hoc analysis to report on inventory quality and quantity, purchasing, seasonal trends, forecasts and purchase effectiveness as well as vendor performance.• Work extensively with the merchandising and replenishment to drill down into problem classes and subclasses to identify opportunities for improvement in sales, margin and inventory turn.• Project Lead charged with initial implementation of Manhattan Associates Demand Forecasting + Replenishment. Lead a cross-functional team of core users from Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, IT, Replenishment and Stores to capture and document critical business processes required to ensure successful design, installation and integration of the new system. Lead and successfully drive all aspects of this project.

Key performer responsible for merchandise replenishment into the DC and out to stores in the two largest sales departments in the Company, managing $90M of annual DC purchases. Single-handedly drive process and systems improvement to all aspects of ordering for the Company. Key Accomplishments:• Develop and deploy a highly automated Excel-based allocation tool designed to improve sell-through of promotional and every-day items at the store level. This tool remains the allocation standard today.• Create an Excel-based ordering tool and process to replace the green-bar report and manual calculation process. This fully-automated Excel-based tool extracts data from the host system, analyzes trends, allows users to select key settings, and then calculates optimal order points and generates suggested orders for upload back into the host system as a PO. This tool grew to become the standard method Vendor to DC replenishment for the Company.• Develop and deploy training materials to all members of the team as well as host transition sessions with the Merchant/Buyers and Divisional Merchandise Managers to gain support for the new process.

Diagnose and resolve desktop computer, server and software issues for users at headquarters, the DC, store users as well as remote users. • Train new and current associates in the areas of computer usage, system access policies and applications such as MS Office, e-mail, data warehouse queries and network file storage.• Coordinate hardware and software research, purchasing, deployment and upgrades for the Company.
