•Design Medium Voltage Switchgear and Distribution Breakers: Required review of supplied customer specifications, and interaction with General Electric Field Sales and customers to clarify specification requirements and address problems and specification weaknesses.Included: developing relaying schemes (bus transfer, bus differential, sequenced operation, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, etc.); identifying appropriate devices to incorporate into switchgear design (relays, meters, switches, test devices, distribution panels, batteries, battery chargers, etc.); troubleshooting and problem resolution during manufacturing and testing of switchgear; interaction with General Electric Field Sales and/or Customer Service representatives to answer questions after shipment.•Greenbelt Certified in General Electrical Six Sigma Quality Program.•Team Leader for Engineering Intern/Co-op Program: Involved with developing and implementing program, as well as working with Human Resources on recruiting interns/co-ops.

•Engineering Software Coordinator: Identified, procured, & maintained computer hardware & software in Engineering Projects group•Engineering & Technical Support (E&TS) Reengineering: Team Leader for implementing the reengineered program for developing and installing new/revised plant design.
