• Increased data analysis speeds 10x faster by creating a custom MATLAB program to perform frequency analysis/FFT on electrophysiology data

• Started a new research collaboration that ended with a successful publication: developing a microfluidic device to recapitulate corneal microenvironment.• Won $1000 for 2nd place in UC Irvine Biomedical Engineering Student Teams Design Competition for creating a novel diagnostic platform that runs on the iPhone. • Received multiple research grants as an undergraduate researcher
