With over 25 years of experience in the arts and nonprofit sectors, I am a proven leader in philanthropic fundraising, relationship management, community engagement, and business development. I excel at creating and executing strategies that drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage, while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration among teams, stakeholders, and partners.As the Managing Director of Charleston Stage, South Carolina's largest professional theatre company, I serve as the Chief Executive Officer and oversee all aspects of its operations, including financial management, fundraising, audience development, and strategic planning. I work closely with the Board of Trustees, staff and artists to continue Charleston Stage's tradition of artistic excellence and community engagement, reaching over 100,000 patrons and 20,000 students annually through our full-scale productions and educational programs. I am passionate about advancing the arts and enriching the lives of people in the Charleston area and beyond and I’m honored to serve our community in this capacity .In my previous roles, I served as the Vice President of Engagement at Floyd Lee Locums, a Charleston-based services corporation, as well as the Senior Vice President of Membership and Investment at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, and Senior Director at the National Association of Manufacturers. In these positions, I spearheaded successful initiatives to increase membership and retention, sponsorship, and board participation, while also overseeing strategic partnerships and initiatives.I am proud to have been recognized for my leadership and community contributions, including being named "40 under 40" by Washingtonian Magazine and receiving the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) award for Leadership Diversity and Inclusion.
