The Vice President, advocacy/public policy practice develops and implements the advocacy/public policy practice for Media Ink.’s clients who are non-profit organizations and leading policy, political and electoral efforts.

Established full service media relations and public relations center for regional nonprofit organization providing for global warming solutions, clean and efficient electrical energy production and renewable energy solutions advocacy in the Upper Midwest. Develop and conducts trainings for media messengers throughout the region (North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota), manage significant budgets, advertising and interacted with major financial supporters and foundations; supervised staff and independent contracts and consultants.

Responsible for publication of employee newsmagazine - circulation 10,000 and PDF files – worked closely with President & CEO and senior leadership on key internal and external messages to key constituencies, speechwriting, supervision of Intranet and new technology communications, producer of video webcasts, and governmental relations. Position eliminated. At Regions Hospital, directed public relations efforts for the only Level One Trauma hospital in the city of St. Paul. Responsibilities included strategic planning and execution of communications plans, media relations, promotion to Western Wisconsin markets – particularly opening of Breast Health and Cancer Care centers, assisting in governmental relations efforts, internal communications, supervision of staff and management of $500,000 budget.
