I am responsible for the development and management of the Site Investigations department, providing the team with focus, clear leadership and operational support.My duties include the safe and profitable delivery of SI works, financial forecasting and working with existing senior management to maximize business development opportunities regionally, and structuring and managing the southern region team.I have gained almost twenty years’ experience working for Geotechnical Contractors giving me extensive site experience in logging, project management, waste management, cable percussion, rotary, CPT drilling techniques, trial pitting and geophysical surveys. I have worked on a wide variety of sites, including onshore and near-shore overseas projects and has also been involved in the management of jobs requiring 'cut-down ‘drilling equipment in restricted space/access sites including basements and partially demolished buildings.I have managed multiple large geotechnical projects from tender award through to final billing and reporting with teams of up to 30 members of staff. The projects have been both high profile and technically challenging, requiring preparation of high quality safety documentation, complex planning, the installation of cutting edge monitoring equipment and careful public liaison.
