Responsibilities include performing hand augers, DCP testing, geophysical surveys, management of geotechnical engineering projects and subsurface explorations, which consist of performing boring layouts, obtaining utility clearances, supervising drill rigs, performing in-situ testing, classifying soils and preparing geotechnical engineering reports. Project management responsibilities also include preparation of proposals and invoicing, management of project progress with respect to the budget.

• Testing, sampling and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, environment, asphalt and structural steel placement. • Involved with calculations and data reduction of test results, drafting and other administrative duties.• Effectively read architectural and structural plans/shop drawings, developed communication skills with regard to construction industry/engineering/architectural personnel, improved technical writing ability, and determined cost-effective solutions to construction related issues.
