Responsibilities: Perform forensic, manual Quality Control underwriting analysis of residential loan files in a paperless environment to identify and determine the significance of findings of fraud, misrepresentation, and/or deviation from investor guidelines and to perform risk analysis and make decisions regarding deficiencies identified during the review process. Audit includes and in depth analysis of all credit documents and appraisals for compliance with program and investor requirements and identification of potential misrepresentation. Conduct third party research utilizing services such as Lexis Nexis, Fraud Guard and public records to support file findings. Completed Quality Control second level reviews underwritten for major lenders to prepare responses to repurchase demands. Re-verified and performed additional research to support appeals or approvals if applicable. Reviewed, edited and drafted narratives with appropriate supporting documentation. (Work from Home)
