- Working daily with ~ 180 students of various backgrounds including ELL and IEP students. Communicating with parents and helping students understand Economics in order to graduate and be successful.- Established the “Bulldogs in STEM” after school program which teaches students about STEM opportunities and gives them hands on experience in areas such as coding and 3D printing.- Established AP Economics class which is much more rigorous than traditional economics and allows students to earn college credit for completing the exam.

Teaching Residency

- Provides assistance with ASU's Global Launch department which is primarily focussed with preparing English Language Learners for college at ASU.- Substitute teaching classes in any instance when the professor is unable to attend. This requires me being available with very short notice. Classes are taught in person and online with a video conference program.- During the Coronavirus outbreak I was responsible for re-writing six class canvas pages so that they could be transitioned to a hybrid learning program. - Audited and taught a college entry level economics class to students who all qualify as English Language Learners.- When I am not teaching I am usually preparing quizzes and assignments as well as working on the Canvas page.

Assist military veterans with their transition into college life at the university, responsibilities include:• Working closely with disabled students as well as students with children.• Provide resources and information to all student veterans at the University of Washington.• The first point of contact from the University of Washington for student veterans.• Conducted regular office hours to provide students with a chance to ask questions and seek assistance with any veteran-related problems.• Organized regular events for student veterans at the University of Washington to create a welcoming and friendly community built around veterans.

Petty Officer Second Class - In-Flight Technician whose responsibilities included:• Pre-flight powering up, usage and repair of any avionics equipment such as radios and radar.• Instruction and oversight for 9 junior In Flight Technicians• Certified Collateral Duty Inspector for AT Shop W/C 210• Drug and Alcohol Prevention Advocate for VP-46. • Oversight and responsibility for multiple COMSEC drives and devices on a daily basis.• Ordinance qualified crew member. Notable achievements include:• Three separate deployments exceeding a total of 20 months overseas. • Temporary detachments to Turkey, Indonesia, Greece, Australia, Thailand, and various locations throughout the US.• Deployed to Turkey to combat the so-called Islamic State in August 2015 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve.
