Provide onsite classroom instruction in computer science and information system subjects; evaluate curriculum and prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures and learning sessions, and assess student performance.Key Achievements: Skillfully blend theory / methodology instruction with hands-on demonstration to illustrate hardware and software configuration processes. Currently teaching classes in computer ethics, system analysis and design, computer networking, and database administration.

Provides telephonic and remote access support to the end users system in order to diagnose numerous software (tape backup) and hardware (Dell’s Servers, iDRAC, PVNAS, EMC/Compellent, Blade and VRTX) issues. Skillfully diagnosed issues with SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel and iSCSI protocols concerning all storage devices.Key Achievements: Exhibits proficiency in the ability to review various hardware and software logs from a DSET, RAID, CMC, or tape devices thus resolving the customer issue through software resolution or hardware replacement.  Exhibited proficiency in the ability to work complex and difficult to diagnose architectures while providing stellar customer service to the client. Recipient of Dell’s Silver Performance Award resulting in a cash reward.  Recipient of yearly bonuses at Exceptional and/or Good performance rating.

Gained reputation as the “Computer Chaplain” for utilizing technology to assist in delivery of religious support; planned and administered religious programs, advised executive leaders on issues involving spiritual welfare and morale, and provided spiritual guidance and counseling to hundreds of employees and their families at military sites in the U.S., Korea, and Iraq. Key Achievements: Championed introduction of new multimedia technologies to enhance delivery of religious services, training exercises, memorials, and other presentations. Developed Website for Fort Sill, OK Chaplain’s organization, initiating group’s online presence and providing easy access to organizational information. Project Manager for $200K site renovation; coordinated with contractors to replace A/C and furnishings, and ensured project was completed on schedule and on budget. Planned special events with budgets of $40K+ and attendance from more than 400 personnel.  Received several prestigious awards for outstanding performance and professionalism, including three Army Commendation awards, three Army Achievement Medals, and the Bronze Star for hazardous duty in Iraq.

Managed HW / SW resources critical to mission planning for military aircraft; provided expert administration for 78 desktop / laptop computers and peripherals, including laser printers, plotters, and deployable networks. Seamlessly integrated software and devices into classified & unclassified government networks. Installed and configured Windows OS and applications, performed system upgrades and maintenance, analyzed performance issues, and troubleshot problems. Executed appropriate corrective actions for rapid resolution. Created system setup and teardown procedures, and delivered training and technical briefings to customers. Key Achievements: Assumed contract responsibility for mission-critical support assignment; drew upon talent for learning new processes to ramp up to speed quickly.  Developed and pushed time sensitive updates to 32 computers; slashed update time by 500% (from 40 hours to eight). Deployed mission planning / map database server, streamlining data transmission and sharing across LAN to seven geographically separated units.

I was a reserve Chaplain who also had an active Wednesday Bible study group. When I went AD Army, I was awarded an AF Achievement medal for my improvement in the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training. I was also awarded an AF Commendation medal for my over assistance to the chapel.

I was a IT managing up to 72 Airman.

System admin for a small office, assisted on Data Entry and then started to get into procurement.

Provided customer service for Travel and Military Pay. This position actually got me involved in computers as the leave clerk transitioning from a key punch card to a Z-100 computer, which was a 8088 processor.
