Hold direct accountability for strategic direction, implementation, support and development of corporate infrastructure and security services, as well as all related programs, initiatives and applications. Oversee data center and network equipment consisting of 400+ physical and virtual servers and 20+ major communications circuits, supporting domestic and global operations. Handle the coordination and management of desktop support, telephony and end-user services. Build and continue to lead a team of 9 through effective coaching, development and support. Conduct performance evaluations, leadership development and succession planning for all team members to support their ongoing growth and improvement. Partner with executive management on the development of IT strategies, special projects and new programs to drive the continuous improvement of operations. Manage, track and allocate a budget of $10M. Directed the integration of the company’s technology platform prior to corporate acquisition, including the migration of 100+ user accounts and infrastructure into corporate domain, eliminating 3rd party support services provider; resulted in a $72K annual cost savings. Developed the IT security program from the ground up, overseeing the design and implementation; introduced and managed quarterly security updates, disaster recovery plan and security incident response plan. New program successfully eliminated 5M+ network security attacks per month. Implemented turnaround management, driving $3M cost savings through renegotiating technology licenses, eliminating non-value added processes, restructuring department and cross-training IT staff. Spearheaded the negotiation and implementation of cloud services; conducted cost analysis and developed strategic plan, presenting to the board to achieve approval. Selected and implemented SaaS agreement, which resulted in a $2.1M cost savings and significantly reduced footprint in the data center.
