I’m a seasoned safety professional with over 17+ years of experience promoting a strong safety culture by providing safety expertise throughout the organization. My primary goal and objective is to assist with the implementation and/or development of various safety programs or site specific safety procedures to meet OSHA or EPA safety and health requirements. My responsbility includes aggressively investigating safety related issues such as unsafe working conditions, accidents, IAQ, hazardous waste impacts, fire/ fire prevention and others to determine the root cause and to effectively control and/or mitigate exposure to employees in the worplace. My responsibility also includes inspection of all facilities and buildings in a geographical location to ensure they are free from hazards. I strongly promote the concept of Prevention through Design (PtD) as a solution to eliminate or reduce hazards and risks in new systems and equipment prior to introducing them into the workplace.
