• Manages, operates, and maintains (alongside the bookkeeper) the company's labor & material costs within the defined budget guidelines. Complete daily log sheet for tracking.• Ensures that the scope of work is followed, and standardized procedures and practices are met in a professional and timely manner.• Communicates on a high level to home and business owners during the emergency service process.• Communicates with understanding the details of all assignments to include but not limited to drawings, moisture mapping, temperature and dehumidifier readings, and customer inquiries, according to IICRC and or ASD• Works and communicates to all crew lead’s and quality control crew lead’s to ensure projects are done thoroughly.• Responsible for maintaining schedules and managing a crew on multiple projects at one time.• Inspects sites thoroughly and document findings. Submit change orders to Ops Manager.• Prepares all necessary files and paperwork/job files accurately so that an estimate may be prepared directly from file.• Completes jobs in a timely manner or specific time frame.• Trouble shoot problems as they occur in the field.• Evaluates and communicates the need for change orders to owners and subcontractors.• Arranges for permits as needed.• Manages project mobilization process and project dispatch - Communicated travel progress and ETA with management and customer representatives.• Acts as a liaison with Operations Manager, Clients, Subs and in-house personnel• Relays necessary information to technicians and forecast future equipment and manpower needs as required for the job.• Manages, train, coach and mentor staff.• Inventory tracking and resupplying.• Negotiate restoration services and insurance claim settlements.
