Timothy is a passionate and persuasive advocate of the High Court of Kenya, with a postgraduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law and a bachelor of laws (LL.B.)[Hons] degree from the Kenyatta University. He is a member of the Business & Human Rights Committee at the East Africa Law Society (EALS), where he advises the member states on the adoption of national action plans for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of business and human rights.Timothy currently works as the Legal Advisor for Africa at the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), where he uses the power of law to advance reproductive rights as fundamental human rights. He supports the litigation and advocacy portfolios in implementing legal advocacy strategies across seven countries in Africa, representing women and girls before national and regional courts and other quasi-judicial bodies. Prior to joining CRR , Timothy worked at International Justice Mission as an Attorney.He has achieved numerous courtroom victories as a lead attorney, and has successfully implemented legal interventions for a U.S. State Department-funded project aimed at enhancing the criminal justice system response to child sex trafficking in the coastal region of Kenya.
