About Timothy Tremblay

Highly motivated and dedicated with a solid background based on extensive formal training with 8 years U.S. Navy Submarine Service experience. I earned an early promotion to the next pay grade 2 times while serving in the U.S. Navy by demonstrating superior leadership, initiative, technical expertise, and program enhancement creativity. My skill set includes the ability to prioritize, work well in teams, organizational awareness, effective problem solving, the ability to influence, effective decision making, and coordination. During my time in the military I possessed many leadership roles within the command. As training petty officer I helped advance 8 Auxiliary division personnel by creating a timetable valuable to the ships training program and coordinating training exercises and schools. I also obtained the ship’s gauge calibration coordinator for my dedication to fixing the flawed system. Within 6 months, my team and I took a 70% calibration rate to over 95% with over 400 gauges being calibrated. Due to the acknowledgment of my command and my ability to organize and lead, I was placed on the advanced flyaway team to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery Maine to oversee the auxiliary division’s system take downs and lock-outs. I was in charge of writing auxiliary divisions Work Authorization Forms, Formal Work Packages, and Controlled Work Packages. During this time, I managed over 400 critical work control items and was integral in the organization and planning on the take down and transfer of 26 ships systems in the fastest time in over 20 years with zero discrepancies. I was able to innovate a work process now used by Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, saving countless man hours on maintenance for submarines used by military and civilians. I am confident that I can offer you the leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills you are seeking.AREAS OF EXPERTISE- Coordinating and planning of maintenance schedules and applying work process controls- Read/interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, use of electronic and mechanical test equipment, repair electrical cables/connectors, troubleshoot and localize malfunctions, repair faulty equipment. - Conducted statistical analysis to evaluate significance of faults, failures and discrepancies and presented results of audit and surveillance findings to management officials to promote execution of corrective actions..- Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, generators, engines, valves, and motors.
