As a Field Research Manager and GIS Specialist at Abalta Technologies, Inc., I led a team of researchers in collecting and processing data on major North American highways and interstates, using cutting-edge technology and techniques. I also create and test new products, improve data pipeline, and support the sales department with GIS data and maps. I value innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction, and I aim to leverage my diverse perspectives and experiences to contribute to the company's mission and culture.Prior to joining Abalta Technologies in January 2022, I worked as a Research Manager at Zenrin USA, Inc., a leading provider of digital maps and navigation services. There, I managed field researchers across the US and Canada, set data requirements, developed and implemented new technology and collection techniques, and worked with internal and external GIS data. I also developed and tested new products, such as static and interactive maps, for customers and internal use. Some of the skills that I utilized and enhanced in this role include management, GIS, project management, data analysis, communication, and technical writing.
