I am a retired Army veteran. I enjoyed a rewarding career filled with growth in leadership, responsibility and motivation. I am ready to continue to leverage my experience I gained while serving in order to find innovative, efficient and logical solutions to problems. I have had a couple of jobs since transitioning. What I have learned is this: Leadership is the same in the Army as it is in the civilian world. The Army's NCO Creed has two statements that I find directly translate to any role where leadership is involved. "My two basic responsibilities will always be uppermost in my mind—accomplishment of my mission and the welfare of my Soldiers." "I will exercise initiative by taking appropriate action in the absence of orders."These two statements have guided my leadership growth in guiding a variety of different people to success in multiple roles.Experienced in the planning and executing of operations in a variety of situations. Responsible for the training, leadership, and supervision of between 7 and 40 personnel; maintenance and accountability of over $600000 worth equipment, and establishment of radio communications and the networking communication devices.
