Experience:- Administration of hardware and software support contracts for AS/400 and related technologies- Administration of LPARs, HMCs, PTFs, License Keys, Operating Systems, and Firmware updates- Administration of software applications (AVATIER, ROBOT, SNADS, LPPs, etc.)- Administration of BRMS configurations, maintenance, updates, backups, and restores- Administration of Bosanova Controllers for remote TCP/IP connections of existing twinax devices- Administration of PC & LAN Consoles as system consoles for remote AS/400s- Administration of Vision Solutions, Inc.’s mirroring software - Vision Suite (OMS/400, ODS/400)- Administration of IBM Job Scheduler installation and management of entries- Administration and backup/restore support of IXA/IXS/Bladeserver technologies integrated within the AS/400- Security Administration of OS, profiles, and BRMS connections to Window Servers- Support of iSeries Access emulation software for all users- Support for PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners- IBM iSeries Navigator utilized across all AS/400 systems- Document and/or resolve after-hours calls (24/7) for all Help Desk requests (IBM’s cSupport)- Maintaining contracts, distribution records, and rotations of off-site backups with Iron Mountain- Experience with communications: APPC, APPN, TCP/IP, SNADS- Experienced in original system installation, Performance Tuning, Disaster Recovery, and System Security- Extensive interaction with IBM in creating and resolving PMRs

Experience:- Perform all clerical and managerial duties for maintaining IT departmental functions- Implement and support company-wide peer-to-peer network for Internet access- Provide sole contact point for interaction with vendors, service technicians, and outside support centers- Execute the duties of AS/400 Administrator, Operator, Programmer, and PC Coordinator- Create, update, and delete user profiles- Order and install PTFs and release upgrades- Monitor and implement performance adjustments for optimum throughput- Review and submit IBM maintenance contracts for continuing operating system and hardware support- Monitor sub-systems and hardware infrastructure while performing all scheduling and operational duties- Placement of service calls for computer equipment and accompanying or assisting visiting service personnel- Train and provide help desk support concerning AS/400 operations for all personnel- Maintain in-house legacy RPG/CL applications and the integrity of all data files- Evaluate, research, and implement requested programming changes- Install, configure, and maintain new personal computers while providing continuing support for legacy systems- Install, configure, and maintain AS/400 session emulation and other software packages- Train and provide Help Desk support concerning personal computers for all personnel
