I’m Timothy Aungst, PharmD, also known as "The Digital Apothecary," a Professor of Pharmacy Practice and clinical pharmacist with expertise in ambulatory care, cardiology, and geriatrics. Over the past decade, I've focused on integrating technology into clinical care, evaluating over 5000 mobile health apps and digital health products. I mentor in programs like MIT Hacking Medicine and serve as an advisor for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance and the Digital Medicine Society. I’m passionate about shaping the future of digital health in pharmacy, working with organizations like the American Pharmacists Association and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy to create standards and training for the profession. My work is focused on advancing smart medications, remote monitoring, and digital therapeutics to improve patient care. As a nationally and internationally recognized expert, I’m committed to redefining how technology enhances clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
