About Timothy Williams

Tim started as a software developer but found healthcare terminology while helping to develop some of the first releases of SNOMED CT. He spent 7 years providing support for content development and developing quality assurance around terminology products including value sets, mappings, and terminology extensions. Since 2006 he has been helping large healthcare clients develop, quality assure and implement terminology products within clinical systems. He has also contributed to multiple healthcare standards including two HL7 Informative Documents. As lead terminologist he helps clients implement their terminology requirements using WCI’s solutions.
