Background and experience:I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1984 and worked as an executive with United Parcel Service for 13 years. In 1996, I pursued my passion in finance and started an Investment Advisory practice with PaineWebber/UBS. In 2004, The Baltzer Wealth Management Group was founded and relocated to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. To better serve our clients, I earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM  (CRPC®) designation in 2011. This certification involves intensive education in: estate planning, income taxes, long-term care, employer sponsored plans, deferred compensation, asset management, and investment strategy.Focus:I strive to create life-long relationships by understanding the motives behind someone's hopes, dreams, and aspirations. By specializing in comprehensive investment planning, together we craft an actionable plan helping achieve those goals and regularly review and adjust as circumstances warrant. Away from the office:I enjoy time with my two adult children, Josh and Jessi, along with numerous friends and family at my family lake home. Another passion is downhill snow skiing and volunteering as an adaptive ski instructor with the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. I often speak at various events and volunteer for Best Prep teaching financial education to local students.
