Project Manager | Consultant | NonprofitI recently completed a successful 25-year consulting career at IBM, where I worked with clients to create business strategies and develop practical approaches to realizing those strategies via improved technology, standardized processes, and optimized use of personnel. Over the course of my consulting career, I worked in a wide variety of for-profit and not-for-profit settings – an inner-city school system, a large aircraft manufacturer, a northern California water district, a global consortium of plant breeding research scientists, the Executive Office of the President of the United States, and others.I began my career with a passion and belief that serving in the nonprofit sector can make a real difference to people and the communities in which they live. I studied nonprofit administration as an undergraduate and worked as an executive assistant at Minnesota Dance Theatre, part of a vibrant Twin Cities arts community. And now, I am returning to the domain where he began, seeking to offer my skills to the San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit community.Over the years, I have built a broad set of capabilities – business strategy, information technology strategy, project management, team leadership, change management, business process design, information modeling, content development, user experience, and methodology. I want to leverage this experience on initiatives that make a difference.My current focus is Abuntoo, a technology platform that innovates in the individual giving space to promote abundance-sharing and expand the Gift Economy.
