• Responsible for managing and growing a wide-variety of volunteer and fundraising programs, engaging employees in service targeting the specific needs of charitable organizations throughout greater Boston• Established and cultivated Fidelity’s relationship with American Cancer Society, highlighted by increased awareness of cancer issues and raising more than $750,000 for the organization• Increased employee participation from 1,000 to 8,500 employees in three years• Managed Fidelity’s Annual Reading is Fundamental literacy event providing books and an increased focus on reading comprehension and literacy for more than 1,500 children annually• Served as technological lead associate overseeing the corporate growth and development of web sites, databases and internal social media solutions• Co-managed the development of Fidelity’s company-wide Community Relations and Regional Area of Operation web sites and content management systems, communicating to more than 30,000 employees across the nation• Developed a multi-faceted, company-wide database used to analyze and report on volunteer initiatives, which saved the department more than $25,000 of technical development• Assisted senior management in the technical development, communication and administration of Fidelity’s annual workplace giving campaign between 2003 and 2007• Oversaw Fidelity’s corporate sponsorship program administration, fielding and processing requests for sponsorship from more than 1,000 organizations annually, supporting more than 150 events• Supervised Fidelity’s active volunteers for PGA tournaments, engaging more than 2,000 volunteers for the U.S. Senior Open, Deutsche Bank Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open• Managed Fidelity’s annual sponsorship of the Big Apple Circus, creating formalized systems and processes for ticket distribution, while interacting with senior executives in these high profile employee events
