Over forty years experience responding to the needs of citizens, First; through the Canton, OH Municipal Court as Chief/Judicial bailiff reporting to four judges and supervising seven deputy bailiffs and support personnel and Second; the American Red Cross Northern Ohio Region as Disaster Program Manager of the Heartland, Stark and Muskingum Lakes Chapter. Other positions in which I have contributed include, Community Disaster Education coordinator, Life Safety and Asset Protection supervisor and Emergency Operations Center government liaison. I Have had the experience of responding to over 30 national disasters with emphasis on disaster assessment, life safety and asset protection and emergency operations center governmental liaison responsibilities.Major deployments have included: Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Gustav, Tropical Storm Hannah, Iowa flooding, Western Tennessee flooding, North Dakota flooding, Eastern Kentucky tornado and Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Ida and 2021 Kentucky tornadoes.
