Interim Building Manager (April 2017-Jan 2018) for the second time since March 2016, while holding two supervisor roles (since July 2016). Responsible for the operation of the entire facility; including monthly financial calls, developed a staffing plan to offset external support requirements, authorization of all internal inventory adjustments, and conducting facility tours for visiting colleagues and customers. Successfully managed the Receiving Department in the third largest facility in Thermo Fisher Scientific’s distribution network. Managed the Flammable Vault retrofit and the Controlled Room Temperature (CRT) Room construction projects; projects valued at over $1M and $400K respectively.During construction of two hazardous material vaults, analyzed the efficient rotation of over $2M worth of hazardous material so as not to hinder the availability of the product for customer orders as the construction was in an active area of the distribution center.

Worked independently to coordinate organizational participation in regional training exercises as well as coordination across various installation training support facilities and agencies. Drafted and published policy letters to subordinate organizations and supervised their compliance while developing procedures for efficient use and scheduling of scarce training resources. Worked collaboratively with various internal and external installation agencies in order to coordinate vital annual and pre-deployment training for service members. Maintained extensive files tracking everything from routine annual training to Sexual Assault Prevention Readiness and Equal Opportunity courses. Generated detailed reports on a variety of subjects, outlining everything from facilities usage to training completion/readiness.

Trained and mentored over 100 uniformed personnel to serve as instructors and leaders of new service members as they conduct entry-level training. Maintained meticulous files for each student in order to track performance and address deficiencies. Developed the annual schedule, coordinated facility usage for all training events over four distinct 10-week training cycles and evaluated future needs of the school. Used formal Operational Risk Management process to mitigate risks for all training events.

Coordinated and supervised organizational representation at numerous conferences and overseas training evolutions. Drafted and published policy letters to subordinate organizations while supervising their compliance and developed procedures for efficient use and scheduling of scarce training resources. Coordinated multiple course content review boards and concept development conferences where various curricula where reviewed to better support training.

Managed and spearheaded School of Infantry (SOI) West Fiscal Year 2011 training schedule and annual training review for more than 150 iterations of 30 separate and distinct curricula for an organization of over 1000 employees. Worked collaboratively to coordinate training, planning for future projects and resource allocation with various organizations throughout the installation. Directed the transition of a major Marine Corps training initiative from SOI (W) to another organization as part of a regular cycle of fully integrated and synchronized training. Participated in the annual revision of the Natural Disaster Response Plan effecting 80,000 residents and covering 250,000 acres.

Independently supervised all aspects of Combat Hunter training to deploying service members and supervised the employment of several instructor teams to remote locations. Conducted scheduling and coordination for all logistics and operational arrangements for over 20 training trips, throughout the United States and Okinawa, Japan.

Supervised, mentored and evaluated a production team of over 90 employees in two different departments. Created reports and conducted investigations/root-cause analysis for exceptions occurring during the production process in accordance with the manufacturing standard operating procedure. Managed one production line of replacement heart valves as well as the support department, which provided raw materials for another four product lines of replacement heart valves.

Designed and managed a comprehensive training program which included over 35 training evolutions requiring extensive and detailed scheduling, logistical oversight, risk mitigation and detailed transportation plans for personnel and equipment to and from various training venues. Coordinated with external agencies on the air embarkation plan for the deployment and return of over 100 personnel and $1M worth of equipment from various training exercises. Devised and managed the execution of the entire pre-deployment training plan while managing the efforts of a cross-functional team.

Advised the head of the 4th Iraqi Army Brigade after the establishment of a working relationship between our two teams and collaborated to build the first ever Operational Support Coordination Center. Managed over $1M worth of equipment, tracking all logistics, maintenance and resupply during 14 months of deployment.
