Lithium Battery Technology has long been the domain of Asian producers. With today's interest in the US in "on-shoring" Lithium Battery Technology for Electric Vehicles (EV), Clean Energy Storage (ESS) and in other applications there is a real need for US owned companies to engage in the production of Lithium Battery Components. Electrolytes are the life blood of the battery creating link between the anode and cathode of the battery. LiNK Battery Technology will create a large semiworks plant sufficient to supply electrolyte to Lithium Battery Companies in the total range of 10 GWH. The semiworks will be expanded to 50 GWH capacity and then to 100 GWH capacity within the next 5-7 years. My role in this endeavor will be to: * Lead the funding, design, execution and running of the operations - with a focus on in process recycle to reduce waste, efficient chemical process as well as EHS though adoption of ACC's Responsible Care Initiative and the Together for Sustainability initiative. * Develop customer relationships at the battery producers as well as EV and ESS OEMS* Creating the culture of Link-BT as well as building an mentoring the team that will make LiNK-BT a success. -
