I have 18 years of retail experience with evolving success. At 17 years old I learned the in's-and-outs of retail at my local grocery store. At this chain I grew into a management role and laddered up from keyholder, frozen foods manager, liquor department manager for two locations at my local grocery store. From there, I used my connections as a launching point to get hired at Johnson Brothers of Milwaukee. I accepted the role to be a sales trainee at JBWI. A month later they promoted me to merchandiser manager. Now I oversee the operations of the merchandiser team. This involves coaching, scheduling, managing payroll, and servicing our retail chain stores.The past two years of my career have been monumental for personal growth. I learned how to push myself out of my comfort zone. Doing this unlocked the latent potential inside my soul. To go from a local grocer to a branch manager of a national company has been an amazing transformation. I no longer like the feeling of stagnant situations, success is found weathering through turbulence. That is where the strong stand and the weak fall.
