I have over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and 3 years in engineering & design, of which 14 years have been in leadership roles. Since 2021, I have been working in industrial and manufacturing engineering by joining Salas O'Brien and have found it to be a very rewarding experience. It has provided the challenge that I have craved and excel at. My role includes project management, capital cost estimating used by clients for capital plans, and engineering / construction scheduling. Previously, construction provided me fulfillment of a personal desire to create new futures from just an idea or a dream. I find intense joy in accomplishing a client’s goals either as a new entrepreneur, a family looking to improve their lifestyle, or an established corporation. I’m passionate about turning project visions and objectives into reality, offering results in line with client expectations.I’ve always challenged myself to learn new things and accomplish difficult goals. Becoming a professional engineer was one of those challenges. As of 2013, I am a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana.In my career, I also discovered a new passion: leadership. I was given a unique opportunity early in my career to either continue training along the path I was on or take a risk moving into Construction Manager’s role. As a risk taker, I took on the management role and never regretted my decision. I’ve since taken on other roles as Project Manager, Safety Director, and Director of Operations at later companies and have genuinely enjoyed leading teams upwards of 25 employees. I strive to focus on collaboration, mentorship, and communication, ensuring every team member could be at their best.I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and barre above instructor having completed over 400 hours of training.
