Manage the team responsible for system administration, enterprise content management (ECM), and application security. Responsible for vendor selection and vendor account management for our application hosting solution. Lead and executed initiative to license SAP HANA and migrate ECC to HANA.I have left things better than when I found them. I took on problems with systems integration/middleware issues that were affecting multiple business units and my team. We eliminated hundreds of integration-related help-desk tickets/month (down over 90%) and streamlined and secured business processes. After beginning the effort, my Director moved the integration platform to my team. I lead the effort to migrate/upgrade from SAP PI to PrO, improving and re-implementing hundreds of interfaces. The integration platform mature, I handed it off to the Integration Lead Architect to run it, reporting to my Director. The business has gained confidence in IT's ability to execute on integration scenarios and business analysts no longer see integration as a mysterious and fragile black box.Without a formal Change Control Group, I have taken on the additional role of Change Control Manager. My team implemented SAP's ChaRM tool on Solution Manager 7.2 on HANA to automate SAP changes. Along with implementing the tool, we updated the processes around change control to better align with ITIL standards.As part of a large acquisition, I lead the team and vendor through a doubling in size of our hosted application landscape. The project ran ten months, including a landscape migration in the middle. Go-Live went smoothly with many different teams coming together for a successful conclusion to the project.Took the lead with IaaS initiatives by exploring hosting options with a proof-of-concept on the cloud (AWS). Successfully lead an effort to run SAP ECC on HANA in AWS. PoC was so successful that it has been extended to support "sandbox" scenarios for accounting.
